The first game of the new year for the club was the annual friendly against Orwell which took place of Sunday 6th January 2019.

Wilma, Susan, Laurie and Sue took on the men and fought hard for 2 hours. Unfortunately we were outclassed on 3 of the 4 sheets. Well done to Laurie and her team for preventing a complete whitewash! The final score was 35 to the men and 21 to the ladies.

Next year we hope to do better.

The game was followed by soup and sandwiches and a very sociable time in the bar.
