The Lyburn competition takes place each year at Stranraer and this year it took place from 18th to 20th February. Four Orwell Ladies went down to play; Angela Wilcox (skip), Sue Cameron, Caroline Liddle and Maggie Saunderson.

After 4 games in their section, played on the Schenkel system, they were 2nd in the group and so progressed on to the high road semi-finals. A win against Fiona Hardie put them into the final against Margaret Agnew. This was a close game, finishing 5 – 3 to team Agnew.

Everyone had a great time both on and off the ice, and were delighted to come away with a prize!
