Valerie Inglis, Susan Scougal, Angela Wilcox and Maggie Saunderson competed in the Perth Ladies Open which took place on Thursday 10th November with 2 teams from Kinross, 1 from Forfar and 5 from Perth.

After 2 games the Kinross teams were at the top of the table and had to play each other in the final game. It was close game, ending in a peel, with Enid Brown, Morag Wellman, Sandra Richie and Irene Baillie winning the competition by 1 end. Valerie and her team were runners up.
