The finals of the Morton competition took place at Kirkcaldy on Tuesday 13th March 2018. Kinross had reached the finals by winning their group which contained Borders, Murrayfield and Kirkcaldy.

Seven Orwell Ladies were selected to play, Maggie Scott, Laurie, McKerrow, Allison Pirie, Wilma Brownlie, Angela Wilcox, Margaret Nelson and Jackie McQueen.

The semi-finals were Kinross v Stranraer and Aberdeen v Stirling. Unfortunately Aberdeen were one player short which meant that one of their games was forfeited, putting them at a disadvantage. Both matches were tight and exciting but in the end Kinross won 2 of their games and so qualified for the final. The other semi-final went to extra ends, and due to the very complicated scoring structure, it was a while before Stirling were declared winners.

In the final Kinross struggled with the ice and Stirling won 2 of the 3 games to take the title. Congratulations to them and well done to Kinross for getting to the final.
